UNWRINKLED x JAKUB BALICKI

UNWRINKLED × QBA Jakub Balicki brings a new perspective to the everyday wardrobe. Inspired by Warsaw, Berlin and Stockholm, this limited collection of merino scarves and knitwear connects the brand’s approach to functional clothing with the distinctive visual language of a Polish graphic designer.

Typography, geometry and original letterforms move beyond the poster and onto pieces made to be worn. The scarves introduce a graphic focal point, while the knitwear offers a foundation for everyday styling. Wear them together or bring a single piece into your own wardrobe.

An encounter between graphic design and clothing, guided by a simple idea: what you wear can be practical and still express a point of view.

Jakub Balicki

Jakub Balicki, known as QBA, is a Polish graphic and multimedia designer with a particular focus on poster design. His visual language combines typography, geometry and custom-designed letterforms, often built from simple shapes or inspired by bitmap fonts. Rooted in the Łódź school of poster design, his work favours abstract composition over literal imagery.

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where he now teaches multimedia, Balicki has participated in more than 100 exhibitions and competition showcases worldwide. His distinctions include first place in the typographic poster category at Peru’s “Posterist in the World” competition in 2019 and second place for an animated poster in the 2022 international competition dedicated to El Lissitzky.

For UNWRINKLED, he brings this graphic perspective to a limited collection of merino scarves and knitwear inspired by Warsaw, Berlin and Stockholm - taking his work beyond the poster and into the everyday wardrobe.
